Everyone is Beautiful

I just stumbled upon Write for a Reader last night and found this lovely post.  She is giving a way a copy of Everyone is Beautiful by Katherine Center, so click on over there and check it out.

What was really cool about her contest was in order to enter, you had to write at least one thing you found beautiful about yourself.  I LOVE this idea.  So, I am not giving away anything, but go ahead and leave me a comment stating one thing about yourself you find beautiful.  It will make feel you better, I promise! And heck, that is worth something, isn’t it?

  1. Really, nobody can think of one beautiful thing about his/herself?

    I’ll start if off:

I think hearing my own laugh is beautiful…. when I laugh it means I am enjoying life and that is beautiful to me.

  2. HI! I’m the author of Everyone Is Beautiful! And I got asked this question in an interview the other day: what I found beautiful about myself. And I got very self-conscious and did not know what to say! I think it’s hard for women to talk about things they find beautiful in themselves, for whatever reason. I can tell you a million beautiful things about the women in my life, though. (This is part of what the book’s about, by the way!) Anyway, thanks posting about that great review at Write For A Reader!

  3. What is most beautiful about me is that at age 65 my two best friends are my daughters, which means I am a good mother. That is what I hoped I would be ever since I was a little girl.

  4. Awww….. Mom, you ARE beautiful in a million different ways. You have the most giving, generous heart of anyone I have ever met. You give more of yourself in one day than some people do in their lifetime.
